1. How much hidden grace God has,
Whose subtlety eludes the minds of the astute.

2. How much ease came after hardship,
Relieving the sorrow of the aching heart.

3. How often you grieve in the morning over something
Yet joy comes to you by evening.

4. If circumstances constrict you one day,
Then trust in the One, the Unique, the Exalted.

5. Do not despair if some matter goes wrong,
For God has much hidden grace.
