1. We are the sons of earth and its dwellers
From it we were created and to it we shall return
١. نَحنُ بَنو الأَرضِ وَسُكّانُها
مِنها خُلِقنا وَإِلَيها نَعود
2. Good fortune does not remain for those who possess it
And misfortune is erased by nights of prosperity
٢. وَالسَعدُ لا يَبقى لِأَصحابِهِ
وَالنَحسُ تَمحوهُ ليالي السُعود
