1. Death is a draught that must be drunk
Do not fret, and make ready for departure

2. Indeed the son of Amina, the Prophet Muhammad
Is a truthful man who spoke of Gabriel

3. Slacken the reins, fear no obstacle
For God will protect you from harm

4. I trust in my Lord and in Ahmed
And his path runs alongside mine
