1. If this world is deemed precious,
Then God's reward is higher and nobler.

2. If livelihoods are fortune and allotment,
Then one's lack of greed in earning is more beautiful.

3. If possessions are for hoarding their gathering,
Why then would the free man be stingy with what's left?

4. If bodies were created for death,
Then a man's killing for God with the sword is better.

5. Peace of God be upon you, O family of Ahmed,
For I see that I will soon depart from you.
