1. He who is not a wholesome element
Goodness comes not from his mouth
١. مَن لَم يَكُن عُنصُراً طَيّباً
لَم يَخرُجِ الطِّيبُ مِن فيهِ
2. Every person resembles his own deeds
And the jug oozes what is in it
٢. كُلُّ اِمرئٍ يُشبِهُهُ فِعلهُ
وَيَنضَحُ الكُوزُ بِما فيهِ
