1. What will not be, will not be by any means
Ever, and what is to be, will be in its time
١. ما لا يَكونُ فَلا يَكونُ بِحيلَةٍ
أَبَداً وَما هُوَ كائِنٌ سَيكونُ
2. What is to be, will be in its time
And the brother of ignorance is exhausted and sad
٢. سَيكونُ ما هُوَ كائِنٌ في وَقتِهِ
وَأَخو الجَهالَةِ مُتعَبٌ مَحزونُ
3. The strong man strives but gets no share by his striving
While the helpless and despised attains his fortune
٣. يَسعى القَويُّ فَلا يَنالُ بِسَعيِهِ
حَظاً وَيَحظى عاجِزٌ وَمَهينُ
