The seeker saw before the seeker's plea
١. مِن أَدَبِ الكاتِبِ تَرجيعُ ما
طالَعَ قَبلَ طَلَبِ الطالِبِ
2. So favor him with it, and guide another by it
Far be it you forget the writer's courtesy
٢. فاِمنُن بِهِ وَاِنهَج بِهِ غَيرَهُ
وَحاشا تَنسى أَدَبَ الكاتِبِ
