1. Stand by the good, sweet Euphrates
And a spring as if it were

2. The rubbing of a mouth with gap-teeth
Or the nature of the Pasha

3. Who led it to this reservoir
Muhammad the good, he who

4. Won this request
And led it to a people

5. Who complain of the burning heat
So the harbors became with it

6. Swaying from enchantment
So may God reward his effort

7. And remain in happiness
And leadership like a star

8. As long as it is said in his history
Congratulations with the most delicious drink
