1. To the Prince I sacrifice my soul and gift to him
Words I had hidden before this day

Even if this world and all in it were angered

3. But I did not find a chance befitting for them
Except this one that may present itself

4. Words filled with sincerity I elevate
To the leader of the people, the people's hearts have inspired them

5. The time has come, so why delay
To declare the truth as affirmation and warning

6. Our right is the unity of both countries that follows it
Freedom, you are its meaning and guardian

7. Do not wait to gain freedom from nations
Whose trade is still slavery

8. Remember the promises they broke
And remember their minister doubtless forgot them

9. Truth is taken not given as a courtesy
So take it by force and do not wish them to equivocate

10. Do not let the ambitious think
There is opportunity where a snake lies in wait

11. It is the weapon so beware how you wield it
For nothing can cure its sting

12. Wretched politics that claims to be wise not
Seeking anything but to trick the people that harbor it

13. Politics is wickedness that nothing can cleanse
Except pure blood until it covers it

14. Were it not for bloodshed it would not have won its wants
Nor would Syria or Egypt have ruled its valley

15. Break the rod for it dispels sorcery
Like Moses when he feared he threw it down

16. O lion rise and save your den from
The wolves' attack and do not fear their howling

17. For if the lion roared they were timid and if he was silent
The dogs would impose on him even in his land

18. Your people await your supreme guidance
So issue your exalted will that they may answer

19. For their hearts have no patience left
After four black nights and their days

20. That tasted bitter humiliation and tyranny
And injustices that do not cease to flow

21. They regressed him in every way
To prove he is a sheep for his shepherd

22. And they did not know we staked our souls
In wars beyond counting to gain today

23. The independence of our soil
And restore its past glories

24. My lord this is the people's echo record it
Weave the birds' song as they sing their poetry

25. He unburdened his chest though the words
Could not conceal their meanings
