1. My Lord, O eagle of glory and loftiness
His chicks will grow up with widespread wings

2. You truly have the determination of falcons, my son
A goshawk in the midst of every swift horse

3. I ransom you with a more honorable baz than
The eggs of ostriches, my most glorious dawn

4. You have attained glory and mastery, O Al-Qatami
And eloquence, O my most sagacious and swift one

5. O Muzarria, most eloquent like a parrot
O best of the fortunate, with the auspicious bird on the right

6. O ever generous and compassionate one
O nightingale of joys in the valley of wishes

7. And a jest of the intimate, longing companion
You still have not called the turtledoves

8. Truthful words that are unequalled
We call upon you for the new moon so it appears

9. You remain a stored treasure, O friend
Say to the useless owl, the bat of darkness

10. Imitating the sincere in manners and morals
Second raven of separation who made

11. A home with false talk like hypocrisy
O mule whom from journeying

12. Became base and cowardly, leave your antagonism
The plover cannot attain in its flight

13. The demoiselle crane and the running grouse
Nor can the crested lark endure

14. Amongst the birds except the spots of ostriches
Are you not like the lapwings, an attribute

15. Its weapon being its own contradiction?!
How ugly, O party of ruins, is humiliation

16. Resembling the sparrow in weakness
He exposes himself in his ignorance

17. To the deadly foreigner of failures
The ostrich bury their heads in the sands

18. The birds gaze at them fixedly
We are the radiant meteors on the horizon of the Most High

19. Where the ostriches crane their necks to us
And the peacocks clap in wonder at us

20. And the turtle-doves coo to the lovers
And we have the larks - and so the raptors, some of which

21. And others are the heart-rending leaves
So some tribes are miserable and some tribes

22. Blossom like leaves on branches
So from the wonders - and there are many with me -

23. Is my reproach of a crow without manners
And from the ugliness and despicability of the times

24. Is my description, and a peacock does not have any shame
Its good fortunes are depicted with passionate senses

25. That narrate woodpeckers which fell in love with rifts
And I submit respectfully and with humility

26. To an eternal grace that keeps your glory lasting
The turtledoves have not cooed arousing

27. The fervor of the generous soul and passions aflame
For you are to us a blessing, rather a mercy
