1. A new era and a new craftsmanship
And a world that pleases and prosperity that grows
١. زَمَانٌ جَدِيدٌ وَصُنعٌ جديدُ
ودنيا تَرْوقُ وَنُعْمى تَزِيدُ
2. And rain that pours and a life that is good
And power that persists and a threat that recurs
٢. وغيثٌ يَصُوبُ وعيشٌ يِطيبُ
وَعِزٌّ يدومُ وعِيدٌ يعودُ
3. And a kingdom that illuminates with the servant of the King
Like the mid-morning sun assisted by luck
٣. ومُلْكٌ يُنِيرُ بِعَبْدِ المليكِ
كَشَمْسِ الضُّحى سَاعَدَتْهَا السُّعُودُ
4. And victory as wishes hope for
And a master as the slaves desire
٤. وَنَصْرٌ كَمَا تَتَمَنَّى الأَمَانِي
وَمَوْلَىً كَمَا يتمنّى العبيدُ
5. Modesty, patience, grace, justice
Compassion, pardon, might and munificence
٥. حَيَاءٌ وَحِلمٌ وفضلٌ وعدلٌ
وعَطْفٌ وَعَفْوٌ وبأسٌ وجُودُ
6. When he attacks, melting with comfort
And if he draws (the sword), the iron melts
٦. إِذا سِيلَ كاد يذوبُ ارتياحاً
وإِنْ صالَ كادَ يذوبُ الحديدُ
7. Oh best of those born of kings
And most generous of those the troops have supported
٧. فيا خير من وَلَدَتْهُ الملوكُ
وأَكرَمَ من نَصَرَتْهُ الجنودُ
8. And bravest whom the horses have carried
And most awe-inspiring whom the lions have feared
٨. وأَشجعَ من حملته الخيولُ
وأَهيَبَ من رَهِبَتْهُ الأُسودُ
9. And most steadfast whom the swords have tested
And most beautiful whom the banners have shaded
٩. وأَصمدَ من جَرَّبَتْهُ السيوفُ
وأَجملَ من ظَلَّلَتْهُ البُنُودُ
10. And he who is for the kingdom an impregnable fortress
And he who is for the religion a towering pillar
١٠. ومَنْ هو للمُلْكِ سورٌ منيعٌ
ومن هو للدينِ ركنٌ مَشِيدُ
11. Accept the gift of a servant who fashioned it
With a thankful tongue and an affectionate heart
١١. تقبَّلْ هدِيَّةَ عبدٍ حَدَاها
لسانٌ شَكورٌ وقلبٌ وَدُودُ
12. Jewels of poetry of free praise
The nights pass but do not pass away
