1. My life, how the tears which sufficed have excused
Or quenched from the cups of sorrow and healed

2. The singing of tears does not avail a heated liver
Burning, and grief enduring the night tossing and turning

3. O son of those whose hands and command
Time has surrendered the reins of humiliation confessing

4. By their might religion of God rose victorious
Vanquishing adversities and enemies avenging

5. Make strong on religion and world and their people
A matter ascended from your glory ennobled

6. A branch from glory the Muslims sought refuge with
The winds of victory blew upon it and calmed

7. For God a moon the vulgar captured
Until when poised on its horizon eclipsed

8. It ascended to Paradise of Immortality carried
As ceaselessly it aspired to the heights determined

9. Those are the virtues and tenderness so profess them
Love I witnessed to it enticed ardor

10. And arrow of victory events dread it
It became with arrow of death and decay cast

11. O you who saw generosity shroud his bier ardent
With anxiety donning grief enveloped

12. Calling him until exhausted conversing
He called but deaf rock heard not his groan

13. They left him by it pawned in a coffin
Perplexed kissing the chill of dust sipping

14. Vying with tears of grief however they lamanted
And gratifying the doves however they cooed

15. Indeed beyond that absence a lion of ferocity
Fiercest in den and in those heights refrained

16. So God chose him for you in life a pillar
A treasure and in Paradise of Refuge for you anteceded

17. After swayed sword of victory in his hand
And met inimical to guidance provoked

18. And beneath that king his resolve girded
Wishing cycle of fate would retreat or crawl

19. And eyes of heroes gazed anticipating
When he would mount armor of death undaunted

20. And the horses have woven the lower of their saddles
With darkness over its horsemen cloaked

21. As if in attire of glimmering armors dawn
Stars donned of their night gowns enveloped

22. And the white steeds covered among them cheeks of pearls
As if sea pearls settling in shells

23. So grant safety and may fold of disbelief not unite
By your sword and fold of religion reconcile

24. And meet the feast gladdened and may not cease
The nights to grant you might unrelentingly

25. And let victory and intimacy delight you and our souls
Cast without you indignation and sorrow
