1. A narcissus blooms then withers after a short while
It greets the morn with a generous hand

2. And hides the darkness with a miser's hand
It makes the morning breeze accessible

3. Then denies it at sunset
Has not the servant of the King seen the King

4. Answering hopes and giving generously
Even if the earth expanded in width

5. And time extended in length
He would continue expanding this and that

6. With a noble deed and a beautiful mention
