4. Those covenants from your covenants with him
Were not worn out by the passing days and nights.

5. They are true, no deceit in the lightning of love among them,
Nor is the cloud of kinship among them misleading.

6. With means the inner hearts have ardently called out,
So breasts expanded to accept them.

7. They are the thirsty rushing to water,
And the birds hastily returning to their nests.

8. For them the expanse of estrangement has folded up
And the vast firmament has closed in nearer to them.

9. They ignited with the flint of nobility, so it sparked,
And the night between them is a shining day.

10. They planted virtues in the generous soil
Which suffice their envier with that which angers him.

11. The caller called out from a place of calling, listening,

12. With the linked wombs of kinship,
By which joining has occurred and separation is forbidden.

13. They shine though the days are a perpetual night,
And they are sweet though genealogies are a falling poison.

14. With a guardianship that neither Hud’s guidance is absent from,
Nor is the advice of Luqman lost from it.

15. Their nearness is a religion for you and obligations,
And their elevation is laws for you and legislation.

16. When they don attire, hearts are watchful,
And when they call out, souls are listening.

17. With the Yemeni passions which you are for,
And which are fingers and hands inclined toward the right.

18. Pregnant bonds carried you in their wombs
And suckling nurses fed you at their breasts.

19. Their breasts are shelter for you and livelihoods,
And their trenches are dwelling for you and beds.

20. So you followed the traces she outlined for you,
In victory, tracks for you and consequences.

21. They conquered tyrants, so necks are severed
By their swords or else necks are surrendered.

22. They hastened to the caller of passion so there is one
Who believes, and races, and initiates, and pledges allegiance.

23. The victorious, the advisers - they have no distraction
From what pleases God to turn them elsewhere.

24. Their spears are not unsheathed against violators
Except that the door of victory through them is opened.

25. And when their swords shine for an event,
Majestic - the face of opening through it blazing.

26. They do not raise their banners except exalted,
And truth is raised through them, raising.

27. Religion is their flags and landmarks,
While disbelief their fallen and overthrown.

28. O sons of a caller, if you call to reproach
Or blame, hastening and rushing.

29. Or you rage - so places of death and destruction,
Or you reconcile - so fortunes smile.

30. Or you ride - so visions and communications,
Or you descend - so witnesses and gatherings.

31. Greater Syria is your Syria, and Egypt your Egypt,
And the two Maghrebs are protected reserve land for you.

32. And the Far East, the father of rulers,
Whom you called and so time is obedient.

33. The choicest of kings - so victorious, or connecting,
And the elite of people - so protected, or surrendered.

34. The shining full moon has not risen over any land
Except that a crescent belonging to you rises in it.

35. And you have in the abode of kingship, from Saragossa,
A pen surpassing the pens of the open wilderness.

36. With prides from Al-Mundhir and glories
That are composed through his eloquence, so they are prevalent.

37. Through it he has in both Maghrebs places of sunset,
And for the mention of him in both Easts, places of sunrise.

38. The horizons were settled through it, and they are wonders,
And became intimate through knowledge, and they are marvels.

39. So the air is permeated with its implied musk,
And the earth smiles at its prosperity, flourishing.

40. After the virtuous nature born in him from Banu Sinhaja,
Values leading to the King of Kings, interceding.

41. And merits, positions, taxes,
Correctnesses, pieties, and bright splendours.

42. Through them he competes, hastening toward it and agreeing,
Through them to the right hand side contending.

43. If the world shines with the magnificent mention of him,
Then his position with the son of Yahya is magnificent.

44. His soul a trusted repository for you, reigning itself,
And his life in its comforts is entrusted.

45. So make Abu Masoud happy with the aspirations
That are lofty - they are to the stars, climbing.

46. If your sword rights wrongs, defending,
Then our sword rights facts, preventing.

47. With facts that disasters are revealed as though
The doubts of time against them are feeble and repelled.

48. And gifts - in what you have contained it is as though they are
Among those you've conquered, battles and events.

49. And upon you from myself is a good and pure greeting,
Successive, connecting, following.

50. Those that leave with it to you contend,
And those that come with it upon you get lost.
