3. Does the kingship make the terminator die?
Or does glory divert the course of fate?

4. It is death that cracks the unity of all,

5. It scorns life with severe tyranny,
And throws souls into miserable affliction.

6. Have you not seen how his hands ransacked
The noble king and the honoured eminent?

7. And met the mistress of masters,
In the abode of decay and the shelter of death.

8. It is sorrow that twisted the heartsโ€™ resolve,
Inflicting and ruining with good solace.

9. So there is no matching lament for it,
Nor any cure in tears for it.

10. Alas, the sighing songs cannot help it,
Nor can the triumph of crying overcome it.

11. And how can an illness cure another illness?
And how can a disease remedy another disease?

12. So those are the calamities of overflowing eyelids,
Gushing from thirsty hearts.

13. There is no chest but aflame with blazing fire,
No eyelid but drowning in water.

14. It nearly cracked the silenceโ€™s resolve,
And kindled the fire of sorrow in the air.

16. With some cheeks steeped in tears,
And some cheeks steeped in blood.

17. Exposing from the veil of shyness,
And shedding their patience in the bareness.

18. Whites dyed with the colour of mourning,
The red wristbands and white garments.

19. Bemoaners in long black robes,
With hair exposed equally in garb.

A star fell in the sky of glory,

For the good deeds of your white hands,

23. The face of dawn clung to brightness.
And for your loss, rarely did the morning

24. Cover itself in the garb of evening.
So what a pity for the kingdom from one of power,

25. Compensated by the power of consolation.
The spirit of graves for lasting glory,

26. And the soul of palaces for an empty quarter.
If death would accept ransom from her,

ูขูฆ. ูˆู„ูˆ ู‚ูŽุจูู„ูŽ ุงู„ู…ูˆู’ุชู ู…ู†ู‡ุง ุงู„ููุฏูŽุงุกูŽ

27. People would fall short to ransom her.
If she is shrouded under the moundโ€™s burial,

ูˆูŽู…ูู†ู’ ู‚ูŽุจู„ู ูููŠ ุดูุฑููุงุชู ุงู„ุนูŽู„ุงุกู

28. Whereas formerly atop the lofty heights.
Those are her effects of piety,

ูˆุจุฐู’ู„ู ุงู„ู„ู‘ูู‡ู‰ ู…ูŽุง ู„ูŽู‡ูŽุง ู…ู† ุฎูŽูุงุกู

29. And spending for Godโ€™s sake without concealment.
May the Best of Rewarders reward you

ูขูฉ. ุฌุฒุงูƒู ุจุฃุนู…ุงู„ูƒู ุงู„ุฒู‘ูŽุงูƒููŠุง
ุชู ุฎูŽูŠู’ุฑู ุงู„ู…ูุฌุงุฒููŠู†ูŽ ุฎูŽูŠู’ุฑูŽ ุงู„ุฌุฒุงุกู

30. With your pure deeds, the best reward.
And you met in the straits of that tomb,

31. The breeze of bliss and scent of comfort.
So O Lord, proximity with the Two Brilliant Ones,

32. You gained and bought with the most high.
And the destitute with both wings clipped,

33. You were informed of him, so he became clothed in gifts.
And the call of the helpless from afar,

ุณู…ุนุชู ู„ูˆุฌู‡ู ุณู…ูŠุน ุงู„ุฏู‘ูุนุงุกู

34. You heard for the sake of the Listener of prayer.
And the one with love at the abodeโ€™s demise,

ุณูŽู†ูŽุญู’ุชู ู„ูŽู‡ู ุจูุณูุฌุงู„ู ุงู„ุญูุจุงุกู

35. You afforded him the cloak of affection.
So by God, from a knocker in the nights,

ุฑู…ุงูƒู ุจูŠูˆู’ู…ู ูƒูŠูˆู…ู ุงู„ุจุฑุงุกู

36. That struck you with a day like the day of innocence.
Whereupon you bade farewell to the Imam of guidance,

37. An eternal farewell with no reunion.
Your patron and the Chosen One for succession,

38. Of the two former caliphs, Seal of Prophets.
Nor did the arrows of destiny divert you,

ุจุญุฑู’ุฒู ุงู„ุฌู†ุงุจู ูˆุนุฒู‘ู ุงู„ููู†ุงุกู

39. With the shield of essence and power of annihilation.
And a subservient age and an impregnable wall,

ูฃูฉ. ูˆุฏูŽู‡ุฑู ู…ูุทูŠุนู ูˆุณูˆุฑู ู…ู†ูŠุนู
ูˆู‚ุตุฑู ุฑููŠุนู ู…ุดูŠุฏู ุงู„ุจู†ุงุกู

40. And a lofty palace, sturdy of construction.
The lionsโ€™ roar and the waving of flags,

ูคู . ูˆุฒูŽุฃู’ุฑู ุงู„ุฃูุณูˆุฏู ูˆุฎูู‚ู ุงู„ุจู†ูˆุฏู
ูˆุฌู…ุน ุงู„ุญุดูˆุฏู ุจู…ู„ุก ุงู„ูุถุงุกู

41. And the crowds of warriors filling the horizon.
With every brave hero audacious in war,

ูคูก. ุจูƒู„ู‘ู ูƒู…ููŠู‘ู ุฌุฑูŠุก ุงู„ุฌูŽู†ุงู†ู
ูˆูƒู„ู‘ู ุฃูŽู…ูŠุฑู ู…ู†ูŠูู ุงู„ู„ู‘ููˆุงุกู

42. And every noble prince bearing the banner.
And a governor whom God tended what he tended,

ูคูข. ูˆูŽูˆุงู„ู ุฑุนู‰ ุงู„ู„ู‡ู ู…ูŽุง ู‚ูŽุฏู’ ุฑูŽุนุงู‡ู
ูุฃุจู„ุงู‡ู ูููŠ ุงู„ุตู‘ูู†ุน ุฎูŽูŠู’ุฑูŽ ุงู„ุจู„ุงุกู

43. So He made him thrive in good refinement.
The morn shone upon an insightful Arab,

ูคูฃ. ุชุจู„ู‘ูŽุฌูŽ ุนู†ู‡ ุณู†ุง ูŠุนุฑูุจู
ุชุจู„ู‘ูุฌูŽ ู‚ูŽุฑู’ู†ู ุงู„ุถู‘ูŽุญู‰ ุนู† ุฐููƒุงุกู

44. As the dawn shone upon intelligence and judgment.
And his abode was deserted of sharp swords,

ูคูค. ูˆู‡ูุฒู‘ูŽุชู’ ู…ุถุงุฑุจูู‡ู ุนู† ุญูุณุงู…ู
ูˆูŽููุฑู‘ูŽุชู’ ู†ูˆุงุฌูุฐูู‡ู ุนู† ุฐูŽูƒุงุกู

45. And his claws fled from wisdom and care.
A man who ransomed his free soul to God,

ูคูฅ. ูุชู‰ู‹ ู‚ุงุฑุถูŽ ุงู„ู„ู‡ูŽ ุนู† ู†ูŽูุณ ุญูุฑู‘ู
ุจูŽุฑุงู‡ุง ู„ูุชุฎู’ู„ูŠุฏู ุญูุฑู‘ู ุงู„ุซู†ุงุกู

46. To immortalize the free praise.
And he plunged it into warโ€™s hazards,

ูคูฆ. ูˆูŽุฃูŽู‚ุญูŽู…ูŽู‡ุง ู…ูุฎุทุฑุงุชู ุงู„ุญูุฑูˆุจู
ูˆุฃูŽุญู’ุจูŽุณูŽู‡ุง ูููŠ ุณุจูŠู„ ุงู„ุณู‘ูŽูˆุงุกู

47. And detained it in the way of rectitude.
And he struggled in Godโ€™s way with true struggle,

ูคูง. ูˆุฌุงู‡ูŽุฏูŽ ูููŠ ุงู„ู„ู‡ู ุญู‚ู‘ูŽ ุงู„ุฌู‡ุงุฏู
ูˆุฃูŽุบู’ู†ู‰ ุนู†ู ุงู„ู…ูู„ู’ูƒู ุญู‚ู‘ูŽ ุงู„ุบูŽู†ุงุกู

48. And sufficed over kingship with true sufficiency.
And he fortified the religion with bulwarks of security,

ูคูจ. ูˆูŽุดุฏู‘ูŽ ุนูŽู„ูŽู‰ ุงู„ุฏูŠู† ุณูˆุฑูŽ ุงู„ุฃูŽู…ุงู†ู
ูˆูŽุณุฏู‘ูŽ ุนู† ุงู„ุดู‘ูุฑูƒู ุจุงุจูŽ ุงู„ู†ู‘ูŽุฌุงุกู

49. And blocked polytheismโ€™s gate of salvation.
It was a sword when wars polished it,

ูคูฉ. ูˆุณูŠููŒ ุฅูุฐูŽุง ู„ุฃูŽู„ุฃูŽุชู’ู‡ู ุงู„ุญูุฑูˆ
ุจู ุทุงุฑูŽ ุงู„ุนูุฏุงุฉู ุจูู‡ู ูƒุงู„ู‡ุจุงุกู

50. The enemies fled from it like scattered dust.
And victory clothed it in the garb of majesty,

ูฅู . ูˆูŽุฃูŽู„ู’ุจูŽุณูŽู‡ู ุงู„ู†ุตุฑู ุซูˆุจูŽ ุงู„ุฌูŽู„ุงู„ู
ูˆุชูŽูˆูŽุฌู‘ูŽู‡ูŽ ุงู„ุตุจุฑู ุชุงุฌูŽ ุงู„ุจู‡ุงุกู

51. And patience crowned it with the crown of splendor.
If fate were to articulate what it harbors,

52. It would call him: O quintessence of saints!
He is the reviver King rightfully named,

ูŠูŽุฏูŽุงู‡ู ูƒููŠู„ูŽูŠู’ ุญูŠุงุฉู ุงู„ุฑู‘ูŽุฌุงุกู

53. His hands the guarantors of hopeful life.
Consolation, O Imam of guidance, for the souls,

54. None but You for them have consolation.
And you were compensated with abundant reward,
