1. A home enveloped in gardens, it has
No lack of light within, nor light without,
١. وَمَنْزلٍ حُفَّ بالرِّياضِ فَما
تُعْدَمُ نَوراً به ولا نورا
2. Once a creek where souls found joyful sport,
Now increased in water, an overflowing spout.
٢. وكانَ خَوراً تَلْهو النفوسُ به
وزيدَ ماءً فَصارَ ماخورا
