1. The end of what you have built leads to ruin
And your old age preaching is no judge
١. نِهايةُ ما بَنَيْتَ إلى انتِقاضِ
وَشَيْبُكَ بالموّاعظِ أيَّ قاضي
2. Time built you better than it built others
And after building, there is nothing left but barrenness
٢. بناك الدَّهرُ أحسنَ ما بَناهُ
وما بعدَ البناءِ سوى البياضِ
