1. Your features have become old from the house,
And the bracelets of clouds have flowed over you.

2. So my youthfulness with curled locks
Sheds the tears' embers from the eyelids.

3. A drawing, worn by oblivion, as if
It is about to fade soon in the lines.

4. It left the lover sleepless, and he gained
Nothing but the arousal of longing and turning.

5. So he imagines the scent of dust to be fragrant musk,
And imagines the bending of the twigs to be a bracelet.

6. My drinking companions of the goblet of wine
Are flowers, through which the predawn gently blows.

7. Or it is a lightning that illuminated the dark,
As lines of splendor described the horizon.

8. The hands of the clouds sparked it in the gloom of night,
As if it were the flash of lightning and thunder.

9. I herded it until it bellowed
At the time your sand dunes bellow for dawn.

10. And I have sparked a flint of longing that
Guides the specter of imagination astray.

11. But they prevented imagination along with worries,
And enough rejection after glory of tombs.

12. If my intimacy had lasted, my intimacy would have pained me,
Or if my neighbor had lasted, my tears would have lasted.

13. Or if I smell the scent of life, that is what
Is brought by a scent of youthfulness and commotion.

14. So take as your motto a determination of ambition,
Stronger and more fulfilling than the delusions of youth.

15. And goad your riding camel beyond, unless
The possessor of a cheek has beckoned at daybreak.

16. And the price there is the soil of honor,
Which I have planted its pebbles with elevation.

17. The greatest glory is the honor that
Flowed to people from the breath of God.

18. The sanctuary of guidance and message is the best
That the guest throws his walking stick at.

19. It is the homeland of the purest, chosen Prophet,
From the highest Arab genealogies.

20. Guiding to the straight path, adhering
To people's reins from the edge of Hellfire.

21. Confirmed by evident, shining miracles
That illuminate as lighthouses.

22. And the gentle guidance flowed through it,
As showers flow through afflictions.

23. And it has adorned itself with his emblem
As branches adorn themselves with flowers.

24. The cloud of doubt went away from the face of guidance,
And the moon of truth shone after concealment.

25. O best one, to whose door hopes flow,
Cautious of destruction and burdensome sins.

26. Your sublime characteristics that do not end
Or end by counting are drops of seas.

27. It silenced every eloquent brother
And amazed the constant chatterer.

28. May God send blessings upon you as long as
Dawn breathes the scent of meadows at daybreak.

29. And may He keep your heir, your pure grandson,
The fertile palm tree on original ground.

30. His first step in the race of glory
Reaches further than the outstretched or the ambitious.

31. When the predecessors race with his track,
They return without even a speck of his dust on them.

32. If his pens wrote the signature of exaltation
On the day of battle, it heads to the dangerous spearhead.

33. He has such splendor in his palm that life
Withdraws its deficient hand from competing with it.

34. Whenever he swears an oath, he fulfills it,
As his right hand is linked to the left.

35. He is the one who captured kings’ souls,
As well as their attire, and the preparer of lands.

36. No protector can protect the wicked from him,
Nor can the hand of wastelands shelter the miserable.

37. And whenever he prepares a message for the enemies,
It comes to them as a formidable army.

38. The igniter of the flints of honors, the climber
To the peaks of pride, and the obtainer of goals.

39. The good mention of you has become a prisoner since childhood
Where no sign of daylight appears.

40. And tasting the dust of your relics is enough
For the honor of necks and the elevation of ranks.

41. He still remains supported and guided,
The protector of pillars and victorious supporter.
