1. Abu Al Hussein bin Nasr
I bring good tidings of might and victory

2. For you are in my heart
Sweeter than the holy sites in my chest

3. If only the beard of those
Who do not love you were in my chest

4. Where can one find a free man like me?
Or a vulgar man who is not free?

5. My pores ooze next to rhymes
And the chin hair of others in my poetry

6. And whoever makes an effort in poetry
Strings together a rosary of pearls

7. I who have a despicable innate talent
Have strung together a rosary of puss

8. In short, I am
One of the wonders of my time

9. My udder has certainly flowed, as you see
So my secret is known to God
