1. Time has two states, worry then relief
And relief is followed by worry in torment
١. الدَهرُ حالانِ هَمٌّ بَعدَهُ فَرَجٌ
وَفَرجَةٌ بَعدَها هَمٌّ بِتَعذيبِ
2. For praising You is by one not touched by affliction
And blaming You after praise is denial
٢. فَإِنَّ حَمدكَ مَن لَم تَبلُهُ صَلَفٌ
وَإِنَّ ذَمَّكَ بَعدَ الحَمد تَكذيبُ
