1. He who endures love from one who reproaches him
Will find none on earth who reproaches him

2. Love commands him and passion rules him
Bewildered by all that preoccupies him

3. If you but knew what love makes him suffer
The poor soul experiences what astonishes him

4. Would that you had, or part of what you have
Of a love more burdensome than he can bear

5. Such is my state, it has eloquent tongues
That explain the condition to him who comprehends it

6. As well as what my state conceals, beyond what
It began disclosing, to him who is ignorant of it

7. May God reward the eminent al-Din
For his support that awaits whoever asks of him

8. He is our refuge and master, who
Is most deserving of our praise, may God increase it

9. I sacrifice myself for his noble face from one who
Grasps the hand of kindness, so who can match it?

10. O eminent al-Din, who has never ceased
To pave the way of sustenance for those who hope for it

11. Do not deprive them,
And bear it without them if you are to reject a burden you carry

12. They all fall short of you in generosity, and he who
Boasted of wealth, tomorrow will be ashamed of it

13. May God never show you evil,
And may God grant you what you ask of Him
