1. This is the house of the Commander of the Faithful
So enter it in peace, amen

2. And reside in it, a paradise adorned
For you, O Yahya, pleasing to beholders

3. He who saw it said no hand withered
You perfected your work, indeed your oath held true

4. The like of it we did not see
In an age, nor is it far off that it will be

5. Generosity wrote upon its doors
He who draws near it, his wishes draw near

6. So for us, if we draw near it, is what we desire
Its door opens onto our livelihood

7. From you, O Yahya, and the Muslims' provision
There comes every excellent thing

8. For you, so reside securely and solace the eyes
