1. If only you knew what this grave contains
Knowledge, wisdom and guidance have settled in you

2. As well as good traits, abundant generosity and praise
Generosity has regained consciousness after its passing

3. Its bed having become one where it neither stirs nor awakens
Peace be upon this tomb that contained

4. A leader of an era that had no equal
We grieved for him and gave him shelter hoping

5. That God's decree has no rebuttal
So oh Lord honor this noble guest

6. Who was for us a sweet watering place that honors guests
And reward him with the merit that you possess

7. And with generosity and grace that know no limits
