1. Were it not for Muhammad, the stone of Ishmael
Would not have been a stone prepared for one with a stone

2. And no wonder he revived it, for their lineage is one
Do you not see both are called Al-Muqri?

3. You succeeded the Messenger of Allah, you Muhammad
And sprouted his son and grandson of good repute

4. Oceans of knowledge which drowned the sea with their tide
So you dammed it back with islands, for fear of the land

5. Thus for the sake of this land with islands, the best of them
Is Muhammad, and he is the sea known for its islands
