1. The tidings of your unsheathed sword have reached us
So we remain praising and giving thanks

2. And who remains to be crowned after marching
With terror going before him for a month?

3. You stretched your armies over the east and west of the country
And filled the flat lands and rugged terrain with them

4. And you remain as you used to, lasting
With God, fearing no procrastination or treachery

5. When you aim at a land or intend to raid it
You are sure that victory and success are before you

6. And in it you wash away dishonor with blood
And will not accept anything but blood to purify dishonor

7. And you take vengeance for glory and supremacy
From fate, when they are claimed, and revenge

8. Congratulations for the days whose reins you ruled
And shortened their long lives with spears

9. Tidings succeed each other from you,
Bringing joy, making us forget the past with the first of them

10. Whenever you send great news of victory
Further messengers follow with the like

11. Your good fortune threw your enemies into giving their most precious
So they no longer fear being killed or captured

12. They knew that it would be either devastation or humiliation
So they chose to live in humiliation once again

13. Nothing is better for the young man than his submission
When he finds no benefit in valor or escape

14. How much regret the white and brown Arabs have concealed
Which did not split a skull or give birth to pride

15. Or let out anger with a stab, or healed
From the anguish of chests by striking heroes and warriors

16. So tell the antelope not to eat its bridle in sorrow
Over an incident that will be compensated for tenfold tomorrow

17. And tell the kings of earth to sleep safely
If they do not obey Ahmad, and seize the embers

18. And let none of you be weary of life
For the sword of son of Ismail will shorten lives

19. Take precautions, or make peace with him, for one whose mother bore him
Sees no escape, even if he takes precautions

20. Oh, doomed is he who trusts in the chastity of his fortress
When treason and betrayal have been secretly planned for the fortress

21. And it yearns for your heights out of passion, show it
The vulnerable place its rough terrain hides

22. Flanks that used to be fortresses have become
Stars, and hopes beyond them are futile

23. A people remember them, so their souls yearned
For them, but remembrance does not benefit where it is useless

24. Whenever a lover turns his eyes longingly towards them
Their disdain returns his gaze with contempt

25. By my life, you have built impregnable fortresses from them
And made their summits as high as the Pleiades

26. The sun and crescent moon have risen over them when new
And you have made their pebbles into shining stars

27. You have closed the doors of ambitions to them
So no wind has found a way to them when it blew

28. They have laid the necks of the mighty low
And kept those lost and arrogant far away

29. And no place remains in the enemies for the sword to strike
Since they have accepted Islam and avoided blasphemy

30. Return and call the covenant to the Lord
Who is generous and extinguishes their burning embers

31. For there is no feast except the day you return to it
Nor good news except when the herald brings tidings of you
