1. O rider seeking perilous livelihood
Go easy, for sustenance comes not with exertion

2. God is the Provider, and provisions He apportions
Leaving them not scattered for people to share

3. No man attains what he does not possess
Nor misses what is his destined lot

4. God's power He hid with His wisdom
From mankind, yet through causes it's interwoven

5. The land grants no crops unless tilled
No game is caught lest the nets be spread

6. If He wished to reveal it to people outright
No land would be settled or nets for game thread

7. To the wise He displayed His might
So they succeeded while most were perplexed

8. If their affair were not in a Powerful hand
That rules them as a King rules his subjects

9. The wise would not live well while the fool went hungry
Nor the blind of heart walk the path they sought

10. How many a helpless weakling wears necklaces
While the vigilant and wise are by poverty brought low

11. How many a hoarder of unused wealth
Died with it, leaving it to his foes

12. Wealth he was too miserly to spend
Now spent by those who inherit his clothes

13. A matter of God giving this by guile, that by toil
This one fishes, that one the catch eats

14. So return to God, be content, you will gain honor
Is your sustenance not in what He has decreed?

15. Trust in Him, rely on Him, be at peace and at rest
You will never lack in what is blessed
