1. We congratulate you on this day, it is without doubt your feast
And its ornament, the day of pottery and its excellence

2. It came to you with longing leading it from behind
And with longing from the front guiding it

3. So succeed in what your efforts drew near
And ripen its pasture and make its twigs green

4. And behold a conquering and mighty king
And a generous king who spread goodness on earth

5. And clothe him in the finest beauty and splendor
The dress of glory that does not wear out or fade

6. Indeed your white banners have whitened his face
And preserved for him a memory that lasts forever

7. You went out to the mosque gloriously
Like the full moon that reached its peak

8. The mosque would walk itself
If it could, to meet you or come nearer to you from afar

9. You walked to it humbly and modestly
Seeking your Lord’s grace and increase

10. And you stood by God's command to keep your covenants
And one like you keeps covenants sincerely

11. Kingship that you have assumed did not make you arrogant
Nor the host with fluttering spears

12. You did not incline to the world, desiring it
Nor was religion lost for the sake of what you build

13. Rather, you took sufficiency in both
So each fulfilled its right and exceeded it

14. And you attained tremendous, revered kingship
Eyes lowered before you from what you desire

15. And behind you an army like mountains, colliding
Colliding like the waves of seas, their iron clashing

16. Its steeds neighing in the shade of the arena
And its lions roaring in the forest of its spears

17. And when your bright face appeared to all
Perplexing minds with its witnesses

18. Humans shone with radiant cheeks
And he who rejoiced at the matter became illuminated

19. The onlookers were amazed by you, all of them
Repeating their wonder, observing it and reiterating it

20. This one approached you praising what he saw
While another informed him and another recalled it

21. By my life, you have shown mighty glory
And great distinction, ancient and renewed

22. If people are slaves to their kings
Then praise be to my Master and kings are His slaves

23. He is the supporter of Islam and its rectifier
Whenever Islam inclines, its pillars incline

24. So Islam remains a fortress and refuge
Fearing and hoping in His promise and warning

25. Remaining eternal as creation remains
We congratulate Him on the feast which is His feast
