1. I have protected this radiant face
With the sending down and the groups

2. And I have shielded him from the eyes of people
With the seven long chapters

3. And one who said as he appeared
By God this cannot be a human

4. I said to him do not swear
This is Ulliyyah son of Umar

5. This is the son of the minister
The firm, the stern, the renowned

6. This is the pious son of the pious
The choicest of the jewels

7. This is the one whose appearance
Is fairer than a thousand moons

8. This whose character
Is like a garden at blossom time

9. This whose comfort
Exposes the clouds' showers

10. This whose gravitas
Splits the insides of stone

11. This one who if he forbids
This one who if he commands is obeyed

12. This one whose love
Has the planets settled

13. This one whose resolve
Has the stars cautious

14. This one whose days
Are treasures in the rise of time

15. This one whose enemy
Is discarded misfortunes and others

16. His rising star never parted
From its conjunction with success

17. Nor did his lover see
Misery or harm from him
