1. You have extraordinary feats among kings,
And strange good deeds.

2. You have made the world beautiful again, and its glory has returned,
So life is pure, and happiness comes easily,

3. And the people thank the one who rules them,
Praying for you loudly.

4. Trust in God, for your Lord forgives,
And their prayers for you are the greatest offerings.

5. So make your deeds for them an atonement
That erases the marks of past mistakes.

6. This world is no place for staying,
So earn for yourself the reward of prayers.

7. Their prayers for you were answered when they prayed,
Its proof is the success in your movements.

8. Or have you not seen that when you intend good,
Fate swiftly fulfills it completely?

9. And if an advisor misguides you with error,
No man is safe from neglect.

10. Obstacles came up, and preoccupations
Beside fate, due to the loss of time.

11. Until truth becomes clear to you, and you turn away
From it, taking the path of true determination.

12. A kingdom arranged by the Guardian cannot be feared
For mistakes in opinions.

13. God watches over you enough
To suffice without the good management and cunning of enemies.

14. And a happiness that makes you not need to seek
Glory, or the spears of horsemen and swords of warriors.

15. You left while the palm trees were still being pollinated
And rain had not yet split the plants open.

16. And drought still excited discord, and the ships
Of corrupt people were ships of doom.

17. And there they saw, when you distanced yourself,
That they rushed to imminent death with death.

18. So they pledged, but God demolishes their pledge,
And they agreed on their nighttime conspiracies.

19. And so the sky pours down upon their heads
What divides all of them into fragments.

20. So they split into scattered ruins; destruction laid waste
To the farms and cast upon them the disgrace of the dead.

21. And so they knew that behind your armies, you have
An army of rain and blessings.

22. And when God takes over the matter of one who attempts
Something, nothing need be feared lost.

23. One who does not attain what you attained of the people's love
Does not know the pleasures of kingdom.

24. He appears with a face the people fill with favor,
Yet when he appears, they ransom him with their lives.

25. Every unjust king would ransom you from them,
Not feeling safe from prayers even in solitude.

26. God's servant did not accept the people's submission
Through fear without love in obedience.

27. Al-Ablaj al-Mansur, who rewarded the people
With gifts, so he won the reed-beds.

28. And he obeyed a soul that longs for the Most High,
Where souls long for passions.

29. So he attained his goal, and success in it
Appeared to him in the mirror of being granted success.

30. Take from your time what rewarded you and make use
Of the extra good deeds.

31. For God is pleased, and all the people
Are pleased, so increase your good things.
