1. Our days with you are all celebrations
For goodness they have a beginning and return

2. The world was made beautiful by you and regained its youth
So people are people and countries are countries

3. And you are truly the celebration
And its joy if celebrations make one happy

4. And it comes to you the horizon folds
From the passion with which I love you, heart and soul

5. Mentioning your celebration and standing for it
And honoring more than what is customary

6. So the angels belittled themselves and the mortals scorned
And came to you, no one but you do they want

7. So if it had left while still desiring
No return would the return bid you farewell

8. You see it and the rotating sphere pulling it
Sniffling to you, barely submitted

9. They said does the celebration love, I said yes
Or does the trunk not bend though it is inanimate

10. And it wants to break out of its enclosure, and whoever wants
Loves, is there anything besides love and desire?

11. So congratulate him on a celebration that came and behind it
God's victory and openings of his helpers

12. And enemies' destruction and opening of forts
And battalions of angels and your aid

13. Generosity and justice and good manners
And insight, politics, and executioners

14. The winds wouldn't flow freely when generous
Nor the clouds flash or thunder

15. Life weeps from shyness of his gifts
And the sea slaps its face, enraged

16. There never was nor will be the like of him
A king to match him or peers

17. And I ask you by God, is there any young man among you
To my words, or some of them, a replier?

18. I have only said, confident that people
With all I have praised him are witnesses

19. Even the envious, their words match mine
And virtue is what the envious witness

20. As for corruption, you have ended its place
With the sword, till none of it remained

21. The tyrants, when they caused strife
Profited from it and benefited

22. And hoarded money, so they thought that
The reigns of the world were a habit for them

23. Until what pained them befell them
Killing the innocent, while you are the children

24. And their money and souls were divided
As spoils, murder, and homes turned to ashes

25. The tyranny of a lion, you made their ignorance
Wise, though had they been ignorant towards you, they would have perished

26. You left your prey to each person of zeal
For his brother, fearing its like if they returned

27. So their hands are tied, their swords
Sheathed, and their spears blunt

28. They hope for your pardon and mercy upon them
Humiliated, and they have nearly perished in agony

29. You took fortresses besides yours, impregnable
In the horizon, with no means to resist

30. You feigned heedlessness and slumber towards them
Though behind that was wakefulness and awareness

31. Since fighting them was futile
No gain in it, nor does assault help

32. The world was amazed, thinking you oblivious
And each day, some of them distanced

33. Never! Your eyelids do not sleep
And hatred burns fiercely in you

34. But even fights are not always direct
The art of war is feigned retreat and advance

35. You devised an opinion that crept among them
Like water beneath straw, barely moving

36. And gradually stripped them of it
Through wisdom, neither war nor preparedness

37. You see mountains and think them inert
Yet they pass like clouds when they gather

38. And opinion is an army undefeatable when launching
With its companion success and guidance

39. Where can one fleeing your swords find safety
When the ambushes of your wisdom precede them

40. What can a man do but humble himself
And submit to you, the pillar of his faith?

41. Like the wind of Aad afflicted Thamud
Your war afflicted the hostile fakes

42. If only your father could see what you have here
Of achievements that build and intertwine

43. With enemies in between, if they agreed
Or some of them, hearts would chill from them

44. You replaced their swords except those
Of rebels without sheaths

45. So God we thank, you healed our hearts
Wounded by what the hostile faced from you

46. May celebrations continue to dress you thus
And life grow pure and gifts increase

47. Until you see the sons of your sons, all of them
For the sons of the sons of their sons, children
