1. The feast was blessed by you, and feasts vie
To meet with you, and blessed is he who unites

2. So he won the union this time without them
And no wish in you disappointed him, nor hope

3. You came to him with clear victory and triumph
Both lasting, while you are leaving

4. And your eyes saw what they hid for him
That confused those depicting his traits

5. So for him from you is a vision beyond his hearing
And it nearly drove his mind mad

6. You embodied the crown mounted
On the throne of a kingdom boasting in its dynasties

7. And the permit appears to the people of the open country that
They should be brought, man after man

8. Almost every king or lord and tyrant
Is driven and led around like the docile, the submissive

9. Kissing the ground in fear, and happiest among them
Is he whose crown fell before you, kissing

10. And they force their noses though long what they smelt
Astray, and were it not for esteem and the sword they would not have done so

11. And the cry of the soldier terrified
Their hearts, and it terrified them as they entered

12. A great day which its beauty adorned
A king through it is given as a parable in the wilderness

13. You revealed through the glory of barren kingship
What adorned the feast from it, jewelry and robes

14. The whites and the dark-eyed ones gleamed
And the army fills the atmosphere, and the horses and the colts

15. And the ground shakes and flutters from their hooves
And the neighing and sounds of creatures confuse

16. And the people come out jostling
This one tells that about it and that asks

17. And the praying person longs that if he could
He would hasten to meet you

18. Until when it is said this is Ahmad, it cleared
From the arches over those under the crowns

19. And the crowd separated from him like a smile
And after its darkness the paths clarified for the walker

20. And the light of his smile dazzled them
For what they saw, and no blame when they are confused

21. There appeared to the deniers that the eclipse
Was a crime against the sun on a feast day, they are ignorant

22. You came, and the horses were stationed in the battleground
To stab the throats of those routed among them by the lances

23. They attack what they arranged in sorrow
While revelation is awaited and the command obeyed

24. This one strikes, and that misses with his stab
And you laugh at those touched by disgrace

25. And you came lordly and kingly to the praying one
With the heart of a slave to the Lord of the Throne, humble

26. You walk gently and the hands of people raised
Supplicating for you to God out of love and pleading

27. A love whose place exceeds benevolence
Indicating that people are intrinsically disposed to it

28. And you stood to supplicate Him and mention Him
The mention of one whose connection to God is continuous

29. And you returned to the sacrifice, to revive its rituals
The return of the adorned one touched by loss

30. You sacrificed them fully, delighting the destitute through them
What difference between the sheep, the cows and the camels?

31. And may the feast and the day you were adorned in
Make you happy, and hope was fulfilled

32. And may this celebration make you happy
To prove true your word through action

33. The dawn praised the revolving skies
And blamed them when the course of fate humbled it

34. And can he be blamed for complaining of parting from you
While nearness to you is life and distance is death?

35. Take it as a bride without beauty when it was unveiled
And kohl in the eye is a matter above kohl

36. For through you I am needless of a youth
Who fabricates poetry in describing me and pretends

37. I seek God's forgiveness, for fate runs
With what God ordained, the youth's tricks do not avail
