1. Oh you who I would sacrifice myself for, in the plains of Deir
Adorned with the most beautiful scenes

2. Where we spend the cream of intimacy in its meadows
Of blossoming, verdant gardens

3. With running waters on the pebbles
Like strands of pearls or jewels

4. Sweeter than refined pure honey
As if it were from the spring of Al-Kawthar

5. With streams like silver threads flowing
And its soil is like ambergris in description

6. It is the paradise of my Master, perfected by the Greatest Creator
Glory to Him, the Designer and Shaper

7. With the fragrant breeze that
Relieves the heartache with gentle solace

8. And with the nice diffusion of its fragrance and scent
It makes you no longer need musk or dried ambergris

9. And the birds in its atmosphere singing yearningly
To the good and enlightened homeland

10. How much did it provoke those who love
With the sound of its voice surpassing the melody of the singer

11. Invigorating the hermits, making their state splendid
Thus they succeed with better fortune

12. Its times you always see them passing
Between remembrance and contemplation

13. Whatever ascetic you encounter in it
Crying over his shortcomings, regretful

14. Or wayfarer on the path of fortune and guidance
Or conqueror progressing in his conquest

15. Where is Al-Rusafa, Al-Sadir and Sha’b Buwan
The beautiful and enlightened singer

16. Rather, with its beauty and charm if you judge fairly
It surpasses what is in Deir

17. A refuge uniquely excellent, how can it not be
When through it the secret of the Greatest Saint emerged

18. The full moon of glory and honor, Abd al-Qadir al-Husayni
Of beautiful and bright faced appearance

19. The eye of splendor, the flag of lofty guidance
My soul is ransomed from the valiant hero

20. My Master whose garden of knowledge has flourished
And it yielded goodness through his righteous path

21. From it his merits emerged which in their beauty
I exhausted my treasure of firmness and patience

22. If only I could enjoy it continuously
For ages delighting in its full moon

23. May my Lord preserve it for existence and protect it
From every feared and disturbing evil

24. Neither has my moon set down nor ceased the nightingale singing
Or made my heart rejoice with promising words
