1. A book has come to me, I never tire of hearing it
The book, Kushiyat Al-Rawd, its lands blossoming

2. Surpassing in sweetness and pleasure upon repetition
We grieve to abandon and bid farewell

3. The wine oozes into the listener’s body
Intoxicating us with its hearing and recitation

4. The book came to me, faithful preserver of love
Though fidelity itself has become desolate and barren

5. The book of Abu Al-Nasr, who surpassed eloquence
And exudes Babylonian sorcery that captivates

6. Ever ascendant at the pinnacle of perfection
Illuminating us with its light and rays

7. It still protects the wine-cups with honor
Even if all united, none could thwart it

8. Still the most sacred shrine of nobles
With deeds and nature praised

9. Still roaming to God, imploring
With knowledge and forbearance, none can envelop its sail

10. Still the loftiest banner for the elite
Its generosity extended to us, its treasures ours

11. Kept sublime by the one who valued his time
Bearer of all, our ally and aid
