1. I see the poets spent their lives
Describing every lover and beloved

2. Then passed away, gaining no union with them,
With regret, yearning, and weeping.

3. While others gained those they praised
So they filled hearts with temptation.

4. But hearts win prizes
While they face people's blame and lies.
