1. When he gestures to you, conversing,
All your limbs are suffused with delight.
١. مَن تَصطَفيهِ إِذا أَشارَ مُخاطِباً
مِنكَ الجَوارح كَلَها تَتَنعم
2. And when he speaks from his abode it seems
As if the mirror of your nature translates stones.
٢. وَإِذا تَكلم مِن أَبيت كَأَنَّما
مَرآة طَبعك بِالحِجارة تُرجَمُ
