1. My words and all my senses too
Proclaim your virtues as their due,
١. أَقول وَقَلبي وَالجَوارِحُ كُلَها
بِمَدحك مِني سامع وَمُطيعُ
2. My poetry extols its theme,
Not always is the world in spring.
٢. بَلابِلَ أَشعاري بِأَوصافِهِ طَرَبي
فَما كُل أَيام الزَمان رَبيع
