1. O servant, you are the servant of the One who is your Master
And none but Him in hardships will aid and muster

2. He who guides you to the path of righteous deed and luster
None have I but you, Messenger of God, to seek and cluster

3. And from your side in both abodes is my request and plea
I seek no aid of helpers nor of number and cadre

4. Neither status, nor wealth, nor child do I infer
But You, You are my hope, O best one I repair!

5. Without You would my soul and body ne’er dare
Nor my life, nor self into being e'er flare

6. You who attained the banners of sublime flare
Ascending the Burāq to seventh heaven’s layer

7. No seeker of Yours disappointed nor in despair
I laid my hope’s luggage in Your care, so ne'er

8. Make my hope recoiled or reflected in misfare
I complain to You of sadness and melancholy rare

9. From the illness of sins, in which agony did fare
Realize with Your grace that patience fled bare

10. And rain upon me from Your clouds, mayhap it will repair
The barren part of my fortune’s garden with gentle care

11. The Prophet's kin took for me in their ancestor's place
A standing I take refuge in through their ancestor's grace

12. Gratitude's sweetness in glorifying their feats I chase
When neglecting, may I by muteness your laud replace
