1. You have a place in the hearts of both worlds,
And through your giving, benefits come to them.

2. Among the simple folk, your light shines,
And your praise circulates among the angels.

3. Yearning for those slippers I come,
While separation has laid its burden.

4. O son of the Prophet Muhammad's friend,
You will intercede for creation on Judgment Day.

5. You it was who in his cradle made,
From the mothers of knowledge, wet nurses for him.

6. So you remained, for as long as existence brings joy,
O you shining brilliant moon.
