1. The noble nurtured me at their door
Alone, so their kindness was my companion

2. They would grace me with kindness out of generosity
And seat me amidst the honored in gatherings

3. They honored me amongst my peers in my prime
And adorned me with the finest of garments

4. They gladdened my heart despite each sorrow
And busied my thoughts with constant musings

5. And here I am today, hoping for their kindness again
Despite the tyranny and schemes of rivals
