1. Our friends, you left me behind,
Alone in the abode - morning drizzles almost ruined me.
١. أَحبابَنا خَلَفتُموني لَقىً
في الدار صَبّاً كادَ أَن يَهلِكا
2. Let the quarters not complain of you,
For I have drowned them in weeping.
٢. لا تَشتَكي المَحلَ ربوعٌ لَكُم
فَإِنَّني اِستغرَقتُها بِالبكا
