1. I said to one who blamed me, “Be kind,
Make excuses, and taste the cup of love,
١. قلت لِمَن لامَني تَرَفَّق
واِعذُر وَذُق لِلغَرامِ كاسا
2. And fall in love to measure aloofness like me.”
So he made excuses for me and empathized.
٢. واِعشَق تُقاسِ الصدودَ مِثلي
فاِستَنبَطَ العُذرَ لي وَقاسا
