1. My father was a sharp sword in his glances,
His commands in the night are followed,
١. وَبي رَشأٌ سَيفُ ألحاظِه
أوامِرُهُ في الحَشا تُتَّبَع
2. And they said he passed away, I said in my inner thoughts,
And I said we will meet, when they said separated.
٢. وَقالوا مَضى قُلتُ في مهجتي
وَقُلتُ اللِقا حينَ قالوا قَطع
