1. No fate befalls the servant
But what Allah has decreed.
١. ما لِعَبيدِ مِنَ الَّذي
يَقضي بِهِ اللَهُ اِمتِناعُ
2. I fend the wolves away from prey
Only for the hyenas to watch me bleed.
٢. ذُدتُ الأُسودَ عَنِ الفَرا
ئِسِ ثُمَّ تَفرِسُني الضِباعُ
