1. News of you came to me
And your secrets became apparent

وَبانَت مِنكَ أَسرارُ
2. And signs and traces appeared to me
From intimacy, clearly
٢. وَلاحَت لي مِنَ السَلوَ
ةِ آياتٌ وَآثارُ
3. I see them in my heart
While my inner self has sights
٣. أَراها مِنكَ بِالقَلبِ
وَلِلأَحشاءِ أَبصارُ
4. When love grows cold
Fire cannot warm it
٤. إِذا مابَرَدَ الحُبُّ
فَما تُسخِنُهُ النارُ
