1. I've come to know evil, not for evil's sake,
But to avoid and distance myself from it.
١. عَرَفتُ الشَرَّ لا لِلشَر
رِ لَكِن لِتَوَقّيهِ
2. Whoever knows not evil and its ways,
Will fall unwittingly into evil midst the good.
٢. وَمَن لَم يَعرِفِ الشَرَّ
مِنَ الخَيرِ يَقَع فيهِ
