1. Death has been sweet from our mouths
And death is better than abject humiliation
١. قَد عَذُبَ المَوتُ بِأَفواهِنا
وَالمَوتُ خَيرٌ مِن مَقامِ الذَليلِ
2. We are heading towards God as we die
And in God's cause is the best of all courses
٢. إِنّا إِلى اللَهِ لِما نابَنا
وَفي سَبيلِ اللَهِ خَيرِ السَبيلِ
