1. We blame our loved ones though we are at fault
And falsely accuse them, ignoring our guilt
١. نُدِلُّ عَلى مَوالينا وَنَجفو
وَنُعتِبُهُم وَإِن لَنا الذُنوبا
2. With words that belie our true intentions
And tongues that contradict our hearts
٢. بِأَقوالٍ يُجانِبنَ المَعاني
وَأَلسِنَةٍ يُخالِفنَ القُلوبا
