١. أَفْدِي أُسَيْماءَ مِن نَدِيمٍ
مُلازِمٍ لِلْكُؤوسِ راتِبْ
2. They were amazed by her in sleepiness
Yet, by my life, she is of wonders
٢. قَد عَجِبُوا في السُّهادِ منها
وَهْيَ لَعَمْرِي مِن العَجائِبْ
3. They said sleep avoids her
So I said, the stars do not sleep
٣. قالُوا تَجافى الرُّقادُ عنها
فقُلْتُ لا تَرْقُدُ الكَواكِبْ
