1. Bishr called upon the Merciful, so He answered his prayer,
Sending us clouds that rained down water.

2. Bishr's prayer for rain was right on target,
Reviving and sustaining all that it saturated.

3. With his radiant face being watered, he lives again,
And with his shining light, the fog is lifted.
