1. I say, as one who calls unto good has called,
I yearned for him with the yearning of one utterly lost.

2. It would be unlawful for me to grow accustomed
And not journey to the Sacred House.

3. My hopes will not orbit me unless
I visit between Zamzam and the Standing-Place.

4. Nor will any life be sweet for me if I do not
Visit, in Taybah, the Best of Mankind.

5. So I bid him peace and seek from him
Contentment to bring me near to the Abode of Peace.
